@fastfinge@interfree.ca@gocu54 @cachondo It was Twitter. Everyone was an asshole on Twitter. And IMHO MUDs are the absolute worst place for kids to be. The competitive nature brings out the worst in the adults, there are far too many opportunities for private communication, and things that aren't directly related to the game go largely unmoderated. I'd rather kids be posting publicly on Mastodon and getting public replies. That way the creeps don't go unchallenged or unnoticed.
