@fastfinge@interfree.ca@simon That's what I might do. Because every post you make means an outgoing connection to every server you're federated with. And every incoming post means an incoming connection from the originating server. Currently, my single user instance is federated with 3,120 instances. So you can see how that could ad up quickly. Oh, and for every post that contains a link, it'll make another connection to the the link to create the preview card etc.
