@fastfinge@interfree.ca@simon I don't think it's going anywhere. But it would still be possible to move to firefish without much work. But again, if that worries you, Akkoma is the better bet. You could migrate to Pleroma if it went away. No fediverse servers have super easy migration options, though. That's why I don't run Mastodon. They've got a lot of VC money, and so I'm a bit unsure about how committed they are to accessibility and open standards, or how well they'll continue to align with my values.
