@fastfinge@interfree.ca@jhwgh1968 I remember once getting pulled in to fix a Windows machine that had been booting in safe mode for years. The owner could still surf the web and get her email, so she just ignored it. If Linux wants to be used by "normal" people, this is the kind of bullet-proof it needs to aspire to.
