Thanks for all the boosts, everyone! I've wound up with more followers now than I had previously. I also made an attempt to add a profile picture and a banner for people who need that sort of thing, but I'm pretty sure I screwed it up.

@fastfinge The profile picture shows a man with a beard and the banner shows a cat with some cat toys. So assuming that's what you wanted, it worked.

@soaproot Yup! The man is me, and the cat is not. LOL Thanks! I'm never sure if I'm supposed to crop things or if the place I'm uploading too handles that or what. Seems like iceshrimp did the right thing I guess.

@fastfinge If you want to obsess about the cropping, I'd say it would be better with less torso and more cat ears, respectively. But personally I wouldn't worry about it, as what is there now is OK.

@soaproot I suspect that "it would be better with less torso and more cat ears" can just be universally applied to all images. And we'll see, cropping means getting a sighted person to help me, and it's probably not worth the bother.

@fastfinge @soaproot C've tried using chat GPT to crop with mixed results. I usually just bug my kid, or call Aira. I don't know that AI is quite as accurate as I'd like yet.
