It was pretty good, though I can’t read subtitles so I’m completely unfamiliar with #anime magical girl tropes, and I suspect that spoiled the fun somewhat. I kept picturing all the characters transforming into #mlp ponies because of all the mentions of friendship, as that’s my closest English reference. But it obviously wasn’t the intent of the author.
