Why is it that when I finish looking at a website, I close the tab, then immediately open a new tab to visit another website? Why don't I just reuse the tab I already had? LOL! Does anyone else do this, or am I just nuts.

@fastfinge I've done this with explorer windows. I close one on a particular harddrive, nevermind that i have 2 other windows from the same harddrive open, but I close one of them, and then open another, on the same harddrive, again! What? Done with with web browsers too, have done it with my sequencer. i finished a track, then not 5 minutes later wanted to hear another of my tracks that wasn't officially rendered. You are nuts though, just not because of this.

@fastfinge I do that when I don't want the sites tracking me between each other. Wonder if maybe that's a subconscious rationalization for yourself.

@fastfinge You're nuts, but not for that reason. I do that too, especially before coffee.

@fastfinge I do that sometimes, too. Closing the tab is a way of mentally finishing with something.
And part of me thinks, even though I know it's technically inaccurate, that there's a cookie trail, or somehow a link will form from where I was to where I'm going.
