I got my new AwareWolf cane today. I haven't walked with it yet, but my initial impressions are mixed. It's heavy duty, I like the domed roller, I like the grip, I like the adjustable height. My main concern is the elastic. It's loose, so the cane doesn't unfold very snappily and I'm worried that there will be give that absorbs some feedback. I'll try re-tying it, but I hate doing that. I wonder if this is so it's tight enough at max length?

@alexhall Issue I had with mine is the clamp broke off. That’s just a tiny plastic thing.

@fastfinge How does it stay where it's supposed to? Or does it not anymore? I was disappointed to find the clamp was plastic--I hoped for metal.

@alexhall It doesn’t. I couldn’t get a replacement. Indestructible cane only lasted a year.

@alexhall Yup. Mine broke when the cane was folded. The clamp hadn’t fully closed and I didn’t notice, whacking it on a chair leg as I was storing the cane under my seat at the office. Snapped the plastic right off.
