Is anyone else getting this baffling spam from Nicole, who wants to be called the fediverse chick? I thought it was porn spam, but it links to a matrix room, an abandoned Discord, a friendica, and other equally baffling places. Eventually there are confusedly trolling neonazis, but at no point do I get sold anything, or exposed to pictures of breasts, or whatever.

@fastfinge Yes, got that spam on multiple accounts. All blocked, and I did not follow any links anywhere. I hope you did all that in a very compartmentalized, isolated, sandboxed, virtual environment.

@adam They were links to open protocol stuff like Matrix channels and friendica instances. So I could use the API's to check what they were sending with command line tools. I just had to know! Is this the least mainstream catfishing attempt ever? I'm still not sure.

@fastfinge Yeah, I've had several reports on my instance from her and blocked multipple accounts.

@fastfinge Yeah, I had to block her three times, and others have talked about getting it. I never bothered clicking on the links as I'd just assumed it was some manner of spam or phishing.
