@neurrone not really. It’s about a terminator cyborg who gets transported to a fantasy world with stats etc. it’s good fun! Just beware that the stat sheets take up maybe 25 percent of the book in the first two.
@fastfinge I just started this, on the third chapter now where she's on her way to terminate the dungeon. This is unique and the narrator is awesome, so I'll be spending more time on this.
@fastfinge I just finished the first book. I enjoyed it overall, but the amount of stat blocks is truly ridiculous, yes yes.
Does she develop a personality soon or get into more dangerous situations? So far this seems to be a power fantasy where she's steamrolling over everything.
@neurrone Stat blocks start getting better in the third book. She keeps steamrolling over everything; the conflict in the book comes from the danger to her friendlies, and her struggles to develop emotionally and find a purpose in freedom. And her character does develop. But the primary tension is if she'll do the "right" thing or the "logical" thing, rather than if she'll win in combat.
@fastfinge Its pretty funny as well and has some of the same feels as Terminate The Other World. MC starts pretty weak, gets a legendary difficulty quest to get a loaf of bread from a bakery and it gets funnier from there on.
@neurrone Also, remember that the mighty high king of all the land is most powerful character, yes yes. Pitiful man things can never stand against the glorious power of the high king of all the land.
@fastfinge Didn't understand this on first read. Filled in the gaps based on my understanding of how Eloquence pronounces things, and reached "BJinning" as one of the possibilities. Thought this might be a cricket-themed title about oral sex. It is not.
