@fastfinge Hey I was recently diagnosed with sleep apnea. I've been on CPAP therapy since March 18, and have trouble falling asleep with it. Furthermore, I'm not getting solid sleep like I thought I'd get with it.

@jaybird110127 It takes a month or so to get used to. What machine do you use?

@fastfinge Are you familiar with the software called Open Source CPAP Analysis Reporter (OSCAR?) It lets you pull data from an SD card used in your CPAP machine if you're using one. It's somewhat accessible, and I've found it to be useful in some situations. You have to be using an SD card in your CPAP machine for it to be very useful. If you're not, if you put an SD card in, it'll apparently write extremely limited data for the past several days (not sure how long) to the card at first, then if you actually have the card installed during a therapy session, it logs all sorts of events such as different types of apneas, air leaks, etc. Then if you move the card from your CPAP machine to your PC and run OSCAR, you can import that data into the system and get all sorts of graphs and statistics. www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/

@jaybird110127 The air mini doesn’t take an sd card. It sends data to a phone via Bluetooth. So sadly not an option for me.

@fastfinge Oh weird, I just saw a product page on cpap.com that indicates it can use an optional SD card.

@jaybird110127 Maybe there’s a newer model? Mine is 1.5 years old.

@fastfinge I have no idea. Mine also connects via cellular networks, but can use an SD card. On the left side of my machine, there are two rubber flaps, one of which hides an SD slot, the other of which hides a connector for other equipment such as a pulse oximetry unit.

@jaybird110127 The air mini doesn’t connect to cell directly. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth and sends data to the cloud that way. I have a basement bedroom with no cell signal. So I couldn’t use a cell connection anyway.

@fastfinge Okay that's weird, the product page I read clearly says it uses cellular connectivity. Here's the page I found, note this may be US only. www.cpap.com/products/airmini-airfit-f20-mask-bundle?variant=50629797052732

@jaybird110127 I get a 404. Here’s its page from the manufacturer: www.resmed.com/en-us/products/cpap/machines/airmini/
