Let's Encrypt now supports IP certs. Since the man ruined the internet with security this has been needed. Glad it's finally here. community.letsencrypt.org/t/upcoming-changes-to-let-s-encrypt-certificates/243873

@serrebi I'm curious, what's the use case for IP certs? To have a system exposed without needing a domain for it to get https?

@neurrone @serrebi Will it work with local IP addresses? My biggest problem is that I can't get a browser to trust anything I run at a 192.168.1.* address. I have to make a public DNS entry, get it a lets encrypt cert, then access it by whatever.mydomain.com.
