Now this is Microsoft madness heightened! Microsoft Defender now thinks The file eloquence_host32.exe is a virus. It keeps removing the file, making Eloquence for NVDA 64-bit virtually useless. I tried re-downloading and re-installing Eloquence V12, but the file gets removed as soon as I install it. @fastfinge
@amir@fastfinge Since my unfortunet run in on github, I do not remove windows defender. I ask AI to scan the process for a minute, and remove high CPU folders, and then selectively exclude folders where my portable apps are, and certain app configs like NVDA. Consider what you are whitelisting, says my paranoya. Don't just exclude top level folders.
@serrebi@amir The problem is there are too many people running AI who don't actually know how to check a script. They just paste the code in and run it, then wonder why AI makes a mess.
@serrebi@amir I find that if I already knew how to do it, AI does it for me ten times faster. But if I didn't already know how to do something, AI just makes a mess that I can neither detect or correct.
