@rlegowski1@TomGrant91 Zoom is more than slightly better, it's miles and leagues above both of them put together. Way better shortcuts at least on MacOS, an actual usable UI.
@FreakyFwoof@TomGrant91 not on my PC it ain't. The chat window is hopelessly slow, locks up my whole system. The shortcuts are cool, but sound quality not too good.
@rlegowski1@TomGrant91 Very niche though, even now, despite being out for 20 years. Name any group of people outside the blind community that actually use it? I can't think of any.
@rlegowski1@FreakyFwoof@TomGrant91 Despite the developer being sighted, the TeamTalk UI is a complete disaster for those with site, on all platforms. This from a sighted person I know and whose tech skills are quite good. ...It's difficult to even know how to transmit. Quite honestly, I think Bjorn mainly makes TeamTalk as a gift for us at this point.
@jscholes@FreakyFwoof@nick@TomGrant91@rlegowski1 I also can't write a bot that offers realtime transcription without an SDK license. The fact this feature does n't exist means I absolutely can't use TeamTalk for anything professionally, or for anything at any of the charities or NGO's I work with. It's personal gaming use exclusively.
