Longshot: does anyone have the old sounds from the Accessible Chat application programmed by Robert Bets in VB6 for Windows 98/ME/XP? I'm doing work on Adispeak again, and I'd love to use his join/part/private message sounds. Unfortunately his website and all of his games are gone. Not even mentioned on Google! @fastfinge Is that the software that eventually became Freedom Chat? I seem to recall the source code being available for that at some point but I can't find that anywhere either. I'm sure that had the sounds with it.
@daygar No, Freedom Chat was a different vb6 chat app created by Robert Spangler and Fmillion, as a freeware clone of Accessible Chat. They may have used the same sounds, though. They also set it up to work with Accessible Battleship and the other Robert Bets games after the official Accessible Chat server was shut down.
@fastfinge Ah, that explains the confusion. Similar dialogs and working with Robert Betts stuff. Now you mention Robert Spangler that does ring a bell. And Million makes sense as well because I think his version of Millionaire was integrated with it as well.
