My wife is watching a YouTube channel by some Canadians who actually say "eh?".
I don't think I've heard any Canadians say that before and was beginning to think it's something no one actually does. Like the people who think us brits say cheerio a lot, when we don't.

@KaraLG84 You hear it more on the west coast. I’m not sure why everyone thinks that a giant country like Canada would have only one accent, when the UK changes accent every eight feet or so. Canada has at least a dozen accents depending on class and location.

@fastfinge Yeah it's daft. And you're not wrong. My wife and I have completely different accents even though we grew up something like 12 miles apart. Mine is rhotic and my wife's isn't.
