My wife is watching a YouTube channel by some Canadians who actually say "eh?".
I don't think I've heard any Canadians say that before and was beginning to think it's something no one actually does. Like the people who think us brits say cheerio a lot, when we don't.

@KaraLG84 We only say, eh, in order to annoy others. Then, some throw a curve on that and say hey instead. But it's still placed at the end of the sentence, so can be confusing, hey?

@mcourcel @KaraLG84 I thought hey was just a Halifax thing. Only place I’ve ever heard it.

@fastfinge @KaraLG84 Nope, it's huge in Manitoba as well. All my cousins do it. It's annoying hey?

@mcourcel @KaraLG84 Not as annoying as the way they just randomly pluralize words for no reason in Alberta. "So I tells buddy, right, I tells buddy after I goes for a dart, y'know, I tells him we's all gonna go out to cowtown fur a rip, eh? So as I knows if you's all are gonna reach, right?" Honestly everything about the way they talk in rural Alberta and parts of the Ottawa Valley is annoying LOL

@fastfinge @mcourcel I think my favourite Canadian accent is Newfoundland. They sound pretty much Irish. It's glorious
