Update: I can confirm the behavior with one core voices as well.

Update on my Eloquence NVDA addon issue from yesterday. I originally stated I could not get synthesizer settings like rate and volume to properly work between configuration profiles. Here are the steps to reproduce it. May not work for you, but... here we go.

You will need multiple soundcards for this to trigger.

1. Set your synth to Eloquence.
2. Make a secondary profile.
3. Set that secondary profile to another audio card.
4. set all your speech rate settings.
5. Switch back to your normal profile.
6. Speech rate settings will not follow.

They will follow just fine if the audio device isn't switched.
this is so strange.

@lerven it's like the rate transposes itself across profiles when the audio device isn't the same between profiles.

@lerven ok, it's not removing the rate settings from the ini in question, so what the actual fuck.

@munchkinbear I think for whatever reason switching the audio device trips the light fandango. I can also confirm the ini is fine. checked that straight away.

@lerven @munchkinbear Oh good. I really didn't want to have to fix it in my addon. I'm so glad it's not my problem. I just have to deal with the "make questionmarks sound like jaws" guy, who can't describe how questionmarks sound different with jaws (I don't own jaws) but wants me to do it anyway.
