@fastfinge If someone doesnt plan before they let AI code, that person wouldn't plan before they let themselves code. My problem was never planning. It was always syntax. I fucking suck at syntax. LOL
@fastfinge One of the reasons why it's taking me longer than I thought to actually put out a testing version of my mail app is because of the research and planning phases of my features before I go implementing the plan. It doesn't acount for the TDD during development, reviewing code and docs as well as manual testing afterwords.
@ppatel Yup. I'm blocked on similar things with XMPP. There are too many inaccessible clients and servers that I need to test against and can't get hold of to make real progress. I'm going to need to find a sighted partner or drop the project. Letting it simmer on the back burner for now.
@fastfinge Luckily, I'm seeing some results with the mail app. I'm going through about 30 issues I discovered while testing with a live account yesterday. I started implementing changes this morning. I'm hoping that other people can start testing by the weekend while I work on the release infrastructure. If I want to get Gmail OAuth support, I need to get some paid users so will need to set that up.
@pixelate Well, apparently vaccines are the work of the devil now. So I'm sure it's not too long before you can pay fifty thousand dollars for trepanation by a priest at your local hospital-church.
