@NightDrake Oh man. I read that series every time I'm sick in bed. Like, really, really sick, unable to hold down food for days kind of sick. I don't actually know why or how it started, but it's been something I've done every time I got that sick since I was 13 or 14 or so.
@fastfinge I can't say I've never done that very same thing. It's just such a great series for sure. I didn't know you knew of or had read Lackey. So this makes me happy.
@NightDrake I've read most of her books. Though I really didn't get on with her later stuff. It felt like she...started writing fanfic of her earlier, better work, if that makes sense? Arrows is her at the top of her game. Also the album Freedom, Flight, and Fantasy is excellent, if you've heard it.
@fastfinge I sure have heard that album. It is a good one. I do know she is super old now. And there is something different about her newer books for sure. I'm glad I've still got a lot of the old ones to get through.
