There are systems like hindsight and honcho that can handle this far better, cheaper, and more accurately than just a dump of markdown documents. This is the most expensive and least reliable way to do any of this. No tripples or fact store. No vector search. Nothing. Not even a database. Just...have the AI re-process every document hourly. Computing moved beyond flat files in about 1980! No wonder they want all the data centers, if they're just going to do things the worst possible way they could be done. Hell, mnemosyne can do this better, as a background task on your laptop, without even a cloud LLM. I'm sure Muse gives impressive demos. But in six months, everything in every file will be wrong, have drifted off the format, three quarters of it will never get updated, and the bits that do get updated the AI will forget to use. And the user will be wondering why Muse forgets everything they tell it.
@fastfinge exactly my dog. i would have thought that a flagship surveillance product would at least be competent and have the data stored in some fact store rather than markdown, and there appears to be some handwave gesture towards transparency by using markdown, but yeah, agreed. I assume that more sophisticated profiling is happening elsewhere out of sight, but i become less sure of that with time.
