@fastfinge Hi. Have you had any issues with the newest Hermes version? I ran Hermes Update from the terminal and it totally broke. Now when I run hermes from the terminal, it tries to run an update every time I send a message. Messages coming in via gateway services aren't working either. I've done an uninstall and re-install preserving my config and it still isn't working. Any insight would be apreciated.

@jfayre It’s one of your plugins that hasn’t been updated to handle how environment management works. Update your plugins manually. Then disable them if that doesn’t help.

@fastfinge Thanks! The only plugins I've installed are you xmpp plugin and remote hosts. hermes plugins update remote-hosts says it is already up to date.

@jfayre That might be it. Have Claude or another AI take a look. I’m only familiar with the issues on Linux.

@fastfinge Ok thanks. I'm really enjoying using this, but it does seem a bit fragile on updates.

@fastfinge Had Codex look at it. It was a dependency issue with Hindsight Embedded.

@jfayre Ah, that explains it. I was having other issues with hindsight, so I already migrated it to a server running in docker. That way I can use it from hermes, as well as have codex and claude store memories there. Plus it's one less thing for a hermes update to break.

@fastfinge I didn't realize codex and claude could use that. I'll do that as well then. I like that idea.

@jfayre It sure can. It's one install command for them all: hindsight.vectorize.io/sdks/integrations/coding-agents

@fastfinge installed with the terminal install, not Hermes Desktop.
