Angry hot take: If you are an expensive "accessibility professional", and the reports you're generating and sending to your clients are inaccessible, you should just get a new job. @SRAZKVT It's a frustrated one. There are too many people in the accessibility industry who seem not to be able to create accessible artifacts themselves, yet charge hundreds of dollars an hour to advise other companies on how to do it.
@fastfinge yea, depends kind of on the medium i guess ? accessibility on odfs / pdfs in general is just rough, but if it's something like an html document then they have no excuses
@SRAZKVT Hah, ODF? I wish. Try untagged PDFS. Or word documents with no headings or titles for any of the tables, and no alt text for any of the screen shots, and priority/ severity only indicated by colour.
@SRAZKVT Of course. They'd start out with an enormous ascii art version of their logo. We saw that with smallweb stuff like gemtext. When you deny people formatting and images, they just replace it with ascii art and unicode symbols.
